An institutional project, not a commercial product.
BlueForge exists to give business school students experience with the imperfect, in-motion data they will encounter in industry. It is built and maintained inside a college, for the faculty of that college.
Who builds it
BlueForge is a project of the BYU Marriott School of Business, built by Dave Wilson, a professor of Information Systems. The motivating goal is teaching. Students who only ever see clean, static datasets are not prepared for the data they will actually meet, which is messy, continuous, and changing.
What it is not
It is not a commercial product. There is no roadmap to commercialization, no enterprise plan, and no customer logos. There is no pricing page because there is no price: it is available to faculty inside BYU Marriott, and the source code and documentation are open for colleagues to read and learn from.
The platform also does not pretend to be an AI product. BlueForge uses a language model internally for realism in some generated fields, but the thing a faculty member configures is a scenario and a set of data behaviors, not a chatbot.
Where it is
The platform is in Phase 1: the core is built and deployed, generating live data behind an authenticated API. The first pilot is planned in IS 566, a data engineering course, and the design and scope are organized around making that pilot land cleanly.
